The Postal Store®

Whether you're mailing wedding invitations, thank-you notes, or just a handwritten hello, floral stamps make every envelope feel like a mini bouquet. And because flowers symbolize everything from love and celebration to sympathy and care, a flower stamp can subtly match the tone of the message inside the envelope — adding a thoughtful layer before even writing a word.

For these reasons and many more, the U.S. Postal Service has long held to a tradition of showcasing beautiful flowers on stamps. Many feature striking photography or illustration, making them collectible mini artworks in their own right.

USPS floral stamps currently available

As of 2025, here are some of the current floral stamp favorites:

Dahlias — These colorful stamps highlight the lush beauty of dahlias in bloom, featuring close-up images of dahlias and their pistils. The pink, white, yellow, magenta, and red blossoms were photographed in private gardens by Denise Ippolito using natural light.

Tulip Blossoms — Similar to the Dahlias stamps, Tulip Blossoms feature a bright, bold set of tulip blossoms in a rainbow of colors. Denise Ippolito photographed the 10 tulips in various gardens and parks she encountered in her travels. One flower, shot in close-up, fills almost the entire frame of each stamp, with just the top of the stem showing.

Garden Delights — Celebrating the flora and fauna of America’s spring and summer gardens, each of the Garden Delights stamps showcases a single, female ruby-throated hummingbird hovering next to either a zinnia, cigar flower, spotted touch-me-not, or sunflower. Art director Greg Breeding designed the stamps using existing photographs by wildlife photographer Ben King.

Celebration Blooms — Featuring a brilliantly colored, impressionistic illustration of flowers rendered in ink and gouache paint, the Celebration Blooms stamp offers a dreamy tableau created especially for life’s singular moments. In addition to wedding invitations and RSVP cards, it is also perfect for party invitations, thank-you notes, announcements, and birthday cards. Art director Derry Noyes designed the stamp using an existing illustration by artist Kim Parker.

Wedding Blooms — Forming a natural design pair with the Celebration Blooms stamp, Wedding Blooms is a vibrant two-ounce stamp that can accommodate the weight of heavy invitations for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and other celebrations; greeting cards for all occasions; and mailings such as small gifts that require extra postage. Art director Derry Noyes designed this stamp with an existing illustration by artist Kim Parker.
