Introducing Dahlias for Spring
New flower stamps are perfect adornments for invitations and love letters
For the Dahlias stamps, art director Greg Breeding turned to award-winning photographer Denise Ippolito to showcase the lush beauty of these colorful flowers.
In shades of pink, white, yellow, magenta, and red, Ippolito's close-up images perfectly capture the distinctive lines and curls of 10 dahlias in full bloom.
Ippolito’s careful use of natural light is key to the life-like quality of her photographs. “I used reflectors in the field to direct light onto the dahlias,” she explained. “Sometimes when the light was too harsh, I completely shaded the flower and then directed diffused light onto it."
