Rotary International 50th Anniversary

This Rotary International stamp commemorates the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Rotary International. Rotary International is an organization for business and professional leaders that promotes high ethical standards, provides humanitarian services, and helps to build goodwill and peace in the world. The first club was organized in 1905 by attorney Paul P. Harris in Chicago. The stamp depicts a hand holding a torch, a globe, the Rotary International emblem, and the organization’s motto: “Service Above Self.”
