About This Stamp

The 13-cent Quilt commemorative stamps were made available on March 8, 1978, at Charleston, West Virginia. The block of four stamps, each in a square format, portrays basket designs from a quilt made in New York City in 1875. Christopher Pullman designed the stamps.
