About This Stamp

The Postal Service issued its $14.00 International Express Mail stamp August 31, 1991, in Hunt Valley, Maryland, in conjunction with the BALPEX '91 stamp show. The Postal Service was a worldwide sponsor of the 1992 Winter and Summer Olympic Games in the category of expedited mail.

The stamps were designed by Timothy Knepp and printed in the offset/intaglio process by the American Bank Note Company. The stamps were issued in panes of 20.
