About This Stamp
This stamp was issued to publicize the 5,600-mile Great River Road connecting the United States and Canada, from New Orleans, Louisiana, to Kenora, Ontario. It is a collection of state and local roads that runs through 10 states and mostly follows the Mississippi River. The stamp features an image of a map of the central United States highlighting the Great River Road.
