About This Stamp

The Postal Service promoted literacy with a block of four Classic Books stamps issued on October 23, 1993, in Louisville, Kentucky. The stamps feature images of four of America's most beloved and popular stories: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Little House on the Prairie, Little Women, and Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm.

Designed by Jim Lamb of Issaquah, Washington, the stamps were printed in the offset/intaglio process by the American Bank Note Company.
