About This Stamp
This regular issue stamp depicts Andrew Jackson, the seventh President of the United States. Jackson represented the state of Tennessee in the House of Representatives and briefly in the Senate. He went on to serve as a commander during the War of 1812 and the First Seminole War. Jackson was elected as President of the United States and served two terms in office.
