About This Stamp
The 50-Star Flag stamp features an image of a 50-star American flag. The 50-star flag has been used since 1959, following the admission of Alaska and Hawaii’s admission into statehood. The layout for the flag was designed by Robert G. Heft, as part of a high school project.
