The Postal Store®

Every stamp tells a story, and Putting a Stamp on the American Experience offers a fresh perspective on the nation's postal history. This 32-page prestige booklet — only the fourth of its kind — highlights how stamps have reflected the country's evolving identity over time and spotlights the remarkable variety of the U.S. stamp program.

The booklet also features 20 exclusive First-Class Forever® stamps in two self-adhesive sheets of 10. The design reimagines the 5-cent Benjamin Franklin stamp, first issued in 1847 and reproduced in 1875 for the 1876 Centennial International Exhibition.

The stamp, rendered in blue instead of the original reddish brown, is printed with the intaglio process, giving the rich-tactile feel of classic engraved stamps.

Figures of the American Revolution

Meet 25 individuals who played pivotal roles during the American Revolution. Listen to their stories, explore their actions, and encounter the artists who painted their portraits in this commemorative stamp issuance.
